Build Play Contracting is an Arizona-based playground maintenance and safety inspection company serving parks, schools, HOAs, and municipalities across Arizona.
Our inspectors are CPSI-certified — the gold standard in playground safety — and every service we provide follows ASTM, CPSC, and ADA guidelines. We don't just maintain playgrounds, we make sure they're genuinely safe for every child who uses them.

Full power wash of play structures, ramadas, and amenities using antibacterial sanitizer.
Targeted pressure washing of poured-in-place rubber pads and surfaces.
Complete site cleanout including litter, debris, and foreign objects.
Safe removal of graffiti from equipment, structures, and hard surfaces.
Surfacing
Sifting, raking, and replenishment of sand, wood fiber chips, and rubber nuggets.
Repair and maintenance of rubber pads to restore safety and appearance.
Replenishment, rototilling, power sifting, and sanitization for sand play areas.
Standardized testing to verify surfaces meet fall height and impact attenuation requirements.
Full conversion between surface types — loose fill, poured rubber, or alternatives.
Safety Inspections
Every inspection is conducted by a CPSI-certified inspector following ASTM, CPSC, and ADA standards. You receive a comprehensive photo report with itemized repair estimates.
Inspections are included at no extra cost with any scheduled maintenance package.

A full inspection covers equipment condition, hardware integrity, surfacing depth and impact attenuation, ADA accessibility, age-appropriate design, and entrapment hazards. You receive a comprehensive photo report with an itemized list of any recommended repairs or replacements.
We maintain and replenish poured-in-place rubber, wood fiber chips, sand, and rubber nuggets. We also offer full surfacing conversions if you want to switch from one material to another.
Yes — we regularly service HOA communities, city parks, schools, and apartment complexes across Arizona. We can set up recurring maintenance schedules or provide one-time services as needed.
Yes. Every scheduled maintenance visit includes a safety walkthrough at no extra charge. If a more thorough CPSI-certified inspection is needed, we can add that to any visit.
